1. If you forget your password you can reset it using the "Forgotten password?" button on the front page of the site.

2. Keep contact details up to date using the "Manage Contact Methods" on your account home page.

3. Remember to verify any new contact methods.

4. If you are still not receiving SMS alerts this may be because your network provider has prevented you from receiving premium rate SMSs.  You should contact your network provider and ask them to enable you to receive premium rate SMSs.

5. You can have different levels of  subscription for different groups.  Use the "Manage Groups" button on your home page and use the check boxes to choose which devices you wish to receive alerts to.

6. To stop receiving messages log into www.communitysafe.gov.uk, click the button called "Manage Groups". Uncheck the contact methods for those groups you no longer want to receive messages for.

You can also stop receiving messages by SMS Text by sending the text message - LEAVE (name of the group) to the number 61626. For example, I would type "LEAVE Westminster" and send this text message to 61626. This will stop all SMS Text from this group.

7. With more London Boroughs joining the CommunitySafe inititive make sure you browse  groups regularly to find any new groups which might be of interest.
